THE CUSTOM PROCESS
Our simple 5 step custom design process begins here. Having the opportunity to work with our customers to craft and capture the passion, sentiment and love within a bespoke piece of jewellery is of the most rewarding parts of our business. Our aim at Grace Marié is to bring your vision to life and create personalised jewellery that will stand the test of time. Whilst creating a custom designed piece may seem overwhelming, we are experienced at simplifying the process, making even the most complex designs accessible. Our lead designers will work together with you to develop a unique design that reflects your vision and budget to create your dream ring.
1. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
Start the process now by simply booking an appointment or filling out our custom ring builder.
Whether you would like to modify one of our signature rings or have a design you would like us to create, our experienced team of Australian based designers will work with you to bring your vision to life.
After you have made contact with us a member of our team will be in touch to schedule in your initial design consultation and provide you with your pre-consultation questionnaire.
2. DESIGN CONSULTATION
Your initial design consultation will be done virtually via a video call with one of our experienced jewellery designers located at our Australian based design studio. This 45min - 1 hour appointment will see one of our designers take the time to get to know your vision, ideas and budget, whilst discussing your options in relation to designs, settings, stones, and metal types.
We pride ourselves on tailoring this process specifically to you providing valuable advice, guidance, and education to make the journey just as magical as the final piece.
It is during this consultation that enough information is obtained from your designer for them to commence a formal quotation on your ring design.
3. CONFIRM DESIGN QUOTATION
After your initial consult our designers will commence sourcing the desired stones and materials to complete an official quotation that will be emailed directly to you within 24-48 hours.
With your bespoke design, chosen stone and budget in mind, your designer will present to you a selection of tailored options for your consideration and selection. This will include all pricing options and payment instructions for you to review and confirm before proceeding further.
Upon approval of your chosen design and quotation, a 70% deposit is required before we begin the production phase of your dream ring.
4. PRODUCTION
After your initial 70% deposit is received, our design and manufacturing team will commence the production phase that usually takes between 4-8 weeks.
Following payment our Australian based designers will commence working on a 3D computer aided design of your chosen ring. Once completed the computer aided design will be emailed directly to you for review where you can request any final changes be made before we begin crafting your ring. Once your approval is received in writing your forever piece is now ready to be hand crafted and brought to life by our skilled team of jewellers.
With your selected stone, metal, and design elements we will begin to handcraft your special piece. We understand that your bespoke piece is an investment both personally and financially, which is why all our pieces are cut with an incredible level of craftsmanship and precision to ensure the highest possible quality.
5. COMPLETION
Once your dream ring is completed in our workshop, your beautifully finished piece will be thoroughly inspected by our quality assurance team. We will now be in touch via email to share high-definition photos and videos of your ring, ensuring you are more than satisfied with the final result.
After the final 30% payment is received, we will re-confirm your shipping address and prepare your ring for delivery. Your ring will be packaged as fragile to ensure it remains safe and secure during transportation and will be presented in our signature white jewellery box including a custom polishing cloth, stone certification, and jewellery care card.
Your dream ring has now officially come to life and is ready for its new home.
